Sailor Moon Classic
 At first our heroine, Serena, is only a clutzy teenager, living in Tokyo, who can never get to school on time and who pigs out constantly. One day, on the way to school, Serena saves a small black cat from a group of bullies. The black cat is named Luna, and it is this cat who tells Serena she is in fact the Sailor Scout Sailor Moon. Serena then transforms into Sailor Moon and begins to fight the evil Negaverse, led by Queen Beryl. Queen Beryl plans to take over Earth and she is backed by her evil monsters. At first, Sailor Moon must fight the monsters alone, using her tiara. She lives as Serena during the day, and then fights the Negaverse at night. Sailor Moon's main goal is to find the Moon Princess and to protect her, but she really has no idea where to look for her. Luna tries to instruct Serena on how to be a Sailor Scout, but Serena is more interested in the cute guy working in the arcade than any Sailor business.  Soon, Sailor Moon begins to be constantly saved by the dashing Tuxedo Mask, who throws roses in the way of the monsters to save Sailor Moon. Serena gets the biggest crush on him, but little does she know he is actually the young college student, Darien, whom she always runs into and completely despises.
 A few episodes later, Serena meets an incredibly intelligent book nerd named Amy, who transfers to her Junior High. While trying to return a disk to Amy at her computer class, Serena senses danger and transforms into Sailor Moon. She begins to fight one of the monsters from the Negaverse and is about to be destroyed when Luna discovers Amy is one of the other Sailor Scouts. Luna gives Amy the transformation pen and she turns into Sailor Mercury. Then, Mercury saves Sailor Moon with her Bubbles Blast. Sailor Mercury possesses the powers of water and ice. Her powers are weaker than those of her teammates, but she uses her intelligence to help the Scouts. As the show continues Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter show up and join the fight.
 Sailor Mars, the most passionate of the Sailor Scouts, can be a little too much to deal with at times. She is very stubborn and very mean to Serena. But Mars is very powerful, using her power of fire. When she is not fighting, Mars is a teenager named Raye and lives with her grandfather in a temple near Tokyo.
 Sailor Jupiter is the tallest and most headstrong Scout. She has the power of thunder. As a normal girl Jupiter, or Lita, lives alone in Tokyo and goes to the same school as Serena. Lita is also an excellent cook. She is absolutely boy crazy and Sailor Moon's most loyal friend.
 Finally in one of the last episodes in the original Sailor Moon series, Sailor Venus comes into the picture and saves the day. Sailor Venus possesses the power of the love. Before she arrived to save the Scouts, Sailor Venus fought as Sailor V in England after Luna's companion, the white cat Artemis, found her. Her real name is Mina and she is very friendly and athletic.
The Negaverse is now searching for the seven rainbow crystals that will combine to form the Imperium Silver Crystal, the most powerful weapon in the universe. The rainbow crystals are inside the bodies of seven humans, all conveniently living in Tokyo. Very soon, the Negaverse obtains the seven rainbow crystals, and the Sailor Scouts must retrieve them. In this exciting episode, Serena discovers that Darien is Tuxedo Mask, and Darien discovers Serena is Sailor Moon. In that same episode Serena learns that she, herself, is the Moon Princess they have been searching for and learns about her history as the Moon Princess:
 Long ago the universe was united in one great empire whose capital was the moon. The universe was peaceful and beautiful. This moon kingdom was ruled by Queen Serenity, a caring and wonderful queen, who had a single daughter. Her daughter was the Princess of the Moon, Princess Serena. The other Sailor Scouts were princesses of their respective planets, and Darien is Prince Darien, the fiancee of Princess Serena. Then, Queen Beryl attacked and the Negaverse destroyed the Moon Kingdom. Queen Serenity used her last ounce of strength to trap the Negaverse. She then sent Princess Serena, Prince Darien, and the Sailor Scouts to Earth, where they would be reincarnated as humans and would remember nothing of their previous lives. She then sent Luna and Artemis with them, instructing them to find the Moon Princess and protect her.
Sailor Moon finally defeats Queen Beryl and the evil Negaverse after the other Sailor Scouts have been killed. Then the Sailor Scouts and Darien have come back to life and everyone loses their memories again. Only Luna and Artemis still have all their memories.

Sailor Moon R(first half)
 This series is divided into two parts. In the first part, the Scouts must battle against two aliens that have come to Earth in order to gain energy for their Doom Tree. The aliens' names are Alan and Ann. They disguise themselves as humans and go to the same school as Serena. Alan uses his flute to call monsters out of his magic cards that go and steal people's energy.
 During these episodes, Alan forms a majorly huge crush on Serena while Ann is lusting over Serena's newest crush, Darien. Also in this series, Darien never regains his memories, so his inner quest to protect Sailor Moon creates a new hero named the Moonlight Knight (so he is no longer Tuxedo Mask). The Moonlight Knight helps fight against Alan and Ann.
Soon, Alan and Ann begin to notice that the energy they steal from humans is not helping the tree grow. Instead, it is killing it. One day, when Alan and Ann didn't show up at school, Serena and Darien went to their apartment to cheer them up. While there, Serena stumbles into the room that contains the Doom Tree. The tree begins to steal all her energy. When Darien follows to see what is wrong, the tree gets him too. The other Scouts come to their rescue, but can not defeat Alan and Ann. Finally, the tree of life speaks to them and tells her children (Alan and Ann) to stop their evil ways or it will die.
Sailor Moon uses her wand to heal the tree, which becomes only a small seedling again. So Alan and Ann leave Earth with their tree in order to begin a happier and more peaceful life. Darien regains his memories and the Moonlight Knight disappears.
Sailor Moon R (second half)
 The season continues, and the evil Dark Moon family from the future arrives to take over Tokyo. In the future, Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion (a.k.a. Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask) bring peace to the world and rule as King and Queen of the universe. They rule in the future Tokyo, Crystal Tokyo. The Dark Moon Family is against them and comes to the past to stop Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask from ever taking over the Earth. Their leader, Rubeus, is advised by the Wiseman, an evil sorcerer who plans to bring darkness upon the world.
Rubeus uses four sisters, Catsy, Bertie, Avery, and Prisma, to carry out his plan of taking over the important crystal points of the future, so that they can never be used to build Crystal Tokyo. At the same time, a little girl named Rini drops down from the sky onto Darien and Serena while they are kissing. Rini brainwashes Serena's family into thinking she is their cousin, and from then on, she goes everywhere with Serena. Serena is very annoyed.
From the beginning, Darien and Rini feel some strange connection, but Rini absolutely hates Serena. The real identity of this little girl is a mystery at first, but it is known that she has been sent to get the Imperium Silver Crystal, which Serena possesses. Sailor Moon converts the four Dark Moon sisters and they become happy normal women in Tokyo.
After the Scouts succeed in destroying Rubeus, three new members of the Dark Moon Family show up: Sapphire, Emerald, and their leader, Prince Diamond. Diamond is also advised by the Wiseman. A few episodes later the sixth Scout, Sailor Pluto, arrives.
 Sailor Pluto is the guardian of the passage of time. It is her duty to prevent intruders from passing back and forth through time. She also has an attack called Deadly Scream. Sailor Pluto sends Rini back in time and appears in the eye of Rini's Luna Ball. Her human name is not known until the next series. Pluto tells the Scouts that Rini is from the future and that she was sent back in time to find the Imperium Silver Crystal that would save her mother in the future. All the Scouts, the cats, and Tuxedo decide to go to the future, and Rini uses her key to take them there. In the future, Tokyo is in ruins and Sailor Moon discovers she is the Neo-Queen Serenity of the future, Tuxedo Mask is King Endymion of the future, and Rini is their daughter. Neo-Queen Serenity has been trapped in ice and the Dark Moon is taking over Earth. The Wiseman captures Rini and turns her into the Dark Moon monster, Wicked Lady. Diamond, Sapphire, and Emerald finally discover the Wiseman's evil plot, but they are too late. The Wiseman kills all three of them. The Sailor Scouts finally stop Wicked Lady and return Rini to normal. Then, Sailor Moon turns into Neo-Queen Serenity and Rini turns into Neo-Princess Serenity and they destroy the Wiseman.
Sailor Moon S
 In this series, a new, very powerful scientist named Professor Tomoe begins to threaten the Scouts. He has given his soul to the evil spirit, named the Daimon Master, in order to save the life of his daughter, Hotaru. The Daimon Master has taken over his body. Professor Tomoe is working for a group of villains called the Death Busters. By obtaining the three heart talismans, the Death Busters will be able to create the Purity Chalice with which they will be able to summon the powerful Pharaoh 90. The three talismans can be found as the heart crystals of three pure hearted humans. Tomoe orders Kaorinite to attack pure-hearted humans and extract their heart crystals to see if they are the talismans. Tomoe also creates daimon pods that turn into monsters to aid Kaorinite. This is when the next two sailors show up: Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. They have also come in order to retrieve the talismans that can also, with the help of the messiah, be used to rid the universe of evil. Sailor Neptune and Uranus refuse to cooperate with the other Scouts, whom they believe to be inferior. In truth, the Inner Sailor Scout's powers are much less powerful, except for Sailor Moon.
 If you saw Sailor Uranus, you would probably mistake her for being a very attractive boy. Sailor Uranus is an excellent motorcycle rider and race car driver. She is also a fast runner and lives in an apartment with her cousin and best friend, Sailor Neptune. She is very commited to gaining the talismans to save the world, and she is willing to sacrifice anything or anyone who get in the way. Her name is Amara and she is a year older than Sailor Moon and her friends. As Sailor Uranus, she has the World Shaking attack.
 Sailor Neptune is very beautiful and a talented violinist. She is also a fast swimmer, and her and Mercury raced and tied. She is as commited as her cousin, Sailor Uranus, to achieve her goal. Michelle, her name when she is not fighting, is admired by all the Scouts. She harnesses the Deep Submerge attack.
 In this series, Rini returns as a Sailor Scout in training. She calls herself Sailor Mini Moon (the tenth Scout) and she has a weak power called the Pink Sugar Heart Attack.
 Kaorinite continually fails to find the talismans, so Tomoe calls upon Eudial, one of the Witches 5, to take Kaorinite's place. Eudial has a computer program that finally tracks down two of the talismans. They are the heart crystals of Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. Eudial leads the two of them into a trap and steals Neptune's talisman, which turns into the Deep Aqua Mirror. Sailor Moon succeeds in throwing Eudial off a bridge and saves the talisman. Then Uranus shoots herself in the heart and takes out her talisman, the Space Sword. We meet a girl named Trista earlier in the series and she now shows up again. However, she is Sailor Pluto and carries the last talisman, the orb on her time staff. The three talismans combine and form the Purity Chalice. When Sailor Moon touches it, she transforms into Super Sailor Moon.
At this point, Rini meets the daughter of Professor Tomoe, Hotaru. Kaorinite returns and kidnaps Rini. By extracting Rini's heart crystal and implanting it in Hotaru, Kaorinite turns Hotaru into Mistress 9, a monster that will unleash darkness onto the world (Do we see a recurring theme?).
Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune destroy the spirit inside Professor Tomoe and he is returned to normal. They then succeed in turning Hotaru back to normal and she becomes Sailor Saturn.
 Sailor Saturn's one purpose is to destroy worlds. If she is awakened the universe will forever end. She is Hotaru, the daughter of Professor Tomoe and the messiah. Rini is her only friend, and she is also small and physically weak. She does, however, have an extraordinary ability to heal.
Now the Death Busters try to summon Pharaoh 90, but instead they destroy the Purity Chalice. When Sailor Saturn sees that the universe is threatened by Pharaoh 90, she decides to destroy the Earth. Sailor Moon tries to stop her and when she refuses to listen, Sailor Moon turns into Super Sailor Moon and destroys the gateway to Pharoah 90. Hotaru is destroyed and then reborn as an infant.
